Over to the right you should see the TOOL BOX, this is where all the most popular links will be (and most important). If something doesnt work, please let me know!!! Im hoping everything will be corrected by the new year!! thanks for supporting firefighter training and safety: keep your butt low and stay safe!!! chris
Taking advice from someone who knows the fire service and firefighter training, I thought I should to make it clear that this website is here to promote firefighters and what they do. Sometimes to get a point across you have to offend others. Sometimes you have to be offended to get motivated. I started the site as a platform for people like me. People that want to be the very best firefighters that they can be, yet do not have a voice. Whether its political or management, we face many obstacles, some are not even related to fighting fire.
Up until now all of the content on this site is only my views and opinions. My goal is to have anyone that has something to say, be able to do so here and now. I would like to see topics that are on the edge, with no B.S.
NO SACRIFICE - NO VICTORY! Simply put, we are here to promote firefighter health, fitness, education, training and well being. WE ARE FIREFIGHTERS, Day In Day Out, and SOME.. GIVE IT ALL!!
You may not agree with some of what is said here, and that's good!! The Fire Service is very diverse, and if we all think the same we would never get anywhere. We need to start "THINKING OUTSIDE OF THE BOX"!!!!
Traditions in the fire service is one of the reasons why I became a firefighter. We have a lot of great honorable traditions. Yet in the shadows their are others that have outlived their honor. The words "that's the way we always have done it" is used all too frequently. The question you need to ask in reference to that statement ,"Is it tradition or outdated, dangerous acts of ignorance?"
The answer:
The TRUTH IS each year around 100 firefighters die. The TRUTH IS ALOT OF THEM COULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED. Was it because of our tradition of "always doing it that way?" Question your officers, Mentor your probies, Improve your skills, Become that great firefighter you wanted to be when you signed up.
I AM A FIREFIGHTER and I GIVE IT ALL!!
